Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting assessments to evaluate patients' injuries, disabilities, and overall health to establish customized treatment plans.
• Utilizing evidence-based physical therapy practices, including modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy techniques.
• Providing ongoing consultations, education, and training to patients and their caregivers on treatment and rehabilitation processes.
• Documenting and maintaining accurate patient records and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Participating in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives focused on enhancing patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation facility primarily serves a diverse demographic, including pediatric patients with developmental challenges and adults recovering from various injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will focus on tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring their rehabilitation goals are achievable and personalized.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A current State Physical Therapist license.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey treatment plans and rationale to patients and families.
• Physical capabilities such as lifting, standing, and manual dexterity required for effective patient care.

Preferred Experience

While a Bachelor's degree is required, candidates with a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and previous experience working with pediatric populations will be highly regarded. Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and familiarity with the latest rehabilitation equipment will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
