Key Responsibilities Develop an annual plan for alumni engagement, activities, and communications. Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and activities, including donation drives, charity auctions, and benefit concerts. Collaborate with student organizations, faculty, and alumni to create engaging fundraising initiatives. Develop and implement community outreach strategies to raise awareness of the school’s mission and engage stakeholders. Cultivate relationships with pharmacy school alumni to encourage donations and participation in fundraising efforts. Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Write compelling grant proposals to secure funding for specific projects or initiatives. Create promotional materials (brochures, newsletters, social media posts) that highlight fundraising goals and progress. Monitor fundraising budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track expenses related to fundraising activities. Oversee alumni management and communication, maintaining a database of alumni contact information and employment data. Provide leadership, communication, oversight, and coordination of activities for School of Pharmacy alumni. Plan and manage alumni events at local, state, and national meetings, and other gatherings related to SOP alumni engagement. Prepare, distribute, and maintain information from graduating student surveys and other surveys as required by the Student Affairs Office. Develop engagement activities for current School of Pharmacy students outside the classroom environment, including the “Pharmily” concept. Participate in the recruitment of students for BSPS, MSPS, and PharmD programs. Represent the School of Pharmacy at Green & White Days, Pre‑Pharmacy Club, classroom/school visits. Assist in planning and managing social media content calendars and collaborate with the Director of Recruitment and Marketing and the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs. Coordinate tours, presentations, high‑school and college fairs, and other recruitment events with SOP administration, faculty, staff, student ambassadors, and select designees. Coordinate open houses and other student recruitment events, including college and career fairs at the school. Respond to general inquiries regarding admissions requirements and processes. Maintain contacts with counselors, advisors, and faculty in the recruiting market. Attend training to remain up‑to‑date in job‑related functions. Assist with all Student Affairs events and activities as directed by the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs. Perform other duties assigned by the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs or the Dean of the School of Pharmacy. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; 3 years of verifiable experience in alumni engagement, student recruitment in higher education, social media, and graphic design preferred. Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description. Benefits Ample vacation time including winter break.
