Accounting Manager

Our client is an industry leader with a 70 year track record of growth and profitability. The Accounting Manager reports to the Accounting Director and is responsible for leading and developing the operational accounting team. This role is also responsible for the identification and implementation of different business initiatives and process improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coach and mentor Accounting team members in order to maximize contributions to the business and provide a meaningful employee experience. Coordinate and execute the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality financial reporting. Prepare and analyze management reporting Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across accounting operations. Ensure the implementation and maintenance of internal controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and compliance with company policies and regulations. Coordinate with internal and external auditors and manage audit-related deliverables and communications.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Active CPA license Continuous improvement mindset and an ability to drive business value Leadership experience with teams of 3 - 6 team members Experience researching and evaluating technical accounting positions Experience with ICFR, including an understanding of SEC/PCAOB control requirements Public accounting experience, preferably with “Big Four” or large regional firm, having attained the rank of senior or above Must be able to pass a pre employment background check and drug screen within 48 hours of acceptance #J-18808-Ljbffr Andrews & Cole
