Accounting Manager

Location: Loudoun County, VA (Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week; initial training period onsite) Assignment Type: Permanent Hire Compensation: $110,000–$120,000 base salary + bonus potential Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) Job Description Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to support financial reporting, internal controls, and audit activities within a large, multi-entity corporate environment. This role is highly collaborative and partners cross-functionally to ensure compliance, strengthen internal controls, and support accurate financial operations. The Accounting Manager plays a key role in control assessments, financial analysis, and close processes, while also supporting and mentoring members of the accounting team. Key Responsibilities Coordinate internal control activities and support audit initiatives Execute internal control processes aligned with accounting standards and corporate requirements Manage and support control assessments, documentation, and compliance readiness Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information Support general ledger activities and account reconciliations Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Conduct financial analysis and provide reporting insights Assist in strengthening processes and internal controls Mentor and support accounting team members Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of corporate accounting experience Strong background in internal controls and audit SOX testing experience required Knowledge of GAAP; exposure to IFRS a plus Experience working in large, complex organizations ERP system experience; SAP preferred Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment CPA or CPA candidate preferred EEO Statement Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
