We are growing and strengthening our financial systems and are seeking a strong Construction Bookkeeper who wants to grow into an Accounting Manager role over time. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced construction environment. You will work directly with ownership, our General Manager, and Project Managers to maintain clean job cost data, accurate payroll, and disciplined financial reporting across multiple active projects. This is not a controller or CFO role. It is a critical operational accounting position with growth opportunity for the right candidate. Core Responsibilities Process and manage payroll in a construction environment Enter and manage vendor bills (AP) Maintain accurate job cost coding in QuickBooks Assist with accounts receivable and customer invoicing Reconcile accounts monthly Support job cost tracking across multiple active projects Maintain organized documentation for subcontractors and vendors Assist with reporting that supports project‑level cost control Work closely with GM and ownership to improve financial systems Ideal Background 5+ years bookkeeping or construction accounting experience Strong QuickBooks experience required Construction industry experience strongly preferred (residential ideal) Comfortable managing multiple active projects simultaneously Highly organized and detail‑driven Strong Excel proficiency Able to operate in a structured but evolving environment Growth Opportunity For the right candidate, this role can grow into: Accounting Manager Cost Control Support Construction Financial Operations Leader We are looking for someone who wants long‑term stability and growth with a structured, high‑quality construction company.
