Senior Accounting Manager

LHH Recruitment is recruiting for a private equity-backed manufacturing company based in Chandler, Arizona, dedicated to operational excellence, growth, and innovation. The Senior Accounting Manager will oversee all aspects of the company’s accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls. This role will work closely with executive leadership and private equity stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and deliver accurate, timely financial information. Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders. Develop and implement effective internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business planning and decision-making. Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and PE partners to ensure regulatory compliance and support due diligence activities. Mentor and supervise accounting staff, fostering professional development and high performance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with manufacturing and PE-backed environments. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting. Required Skills Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
