Inventory Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Clerk to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for managing the flow of materials throughout the facility — from receiving and shipping to issuing materials for job orders and service orders. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips, and inspect for damage or discrepancies Process outgoing shipments, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and documented correctly Issue raw materials, components, and supplies to job orders and service orders in a timely and accurate manner Maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory/ERP system, updating stock levels as materials are received, issued, or transferred Organize and maintain the warehouse/stockroom locations, ensuring materials are properly labeled, stored, and easy to locate Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies Monitor stock levels and flag low inventory or reorder needs to the appropriate personnel Track and report on inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, and slow-moving or obsolete stock Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to ensure materials are available when needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company safety standards Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack) as needed Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including receiving logs, issue tickets, and inventory reports Assist with any tasks assigned by Production Manager as needed Qualifications Bilingual – English & Spanish REQUIRED High school diploma or equivalent required 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment Experience with inventory management or ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Infor, or similar) preferred Familiarity with cycle counting and physical inventory procedures Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic math and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain certification) Strong organizational and time-management skills Good communication skills and ability to work well with cross-functional teams #J-18808-Ljbffr Hydria Gas Technologies
