What You'll Do

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in a 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit serving a diverse patient population, including surgical, trauma, and stroke patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and evaluate individualized care plans
• Use clinical pathways and patient education to promote positive outcomes
• Demonstrate leadership by sharing knowledge and serving as a clinical resource
• Communicate effectively using SBAR and interdisciplinary channels
• Manage time efficiently and assist team members to ensure quality care delivery
• Adhere to hospital policies, including a strict attendance policy effective from 06/01/2024, with allowances for documented medical issues

What You Need

• Active RN license in Michigan
• Prior Med Surg experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical backgrounds considered
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills
• Ability to work night shifts and in a fast-paced environment
