Key Qualifications:
- Experience in a school setting as a paraprofessional or similar support role
- Bilingual proficiency, able to communicate effectively with students and families from diverse backgrounds
- Comfort working 1:1 with pediatric populations, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) students
- Skilled in adapting instruction and behavioral strategies to meet individual student needs
- Ability to build trusting relationships and foster a positive learning environment
- Flexibility and reliability for a long-term assignment in a dynamic educational setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized, 1:1 academic and behavioral support to assigned students during classroom activities
- Assist teachers in implementing instructional plans and modifying materials, as needed
- Support communication between school staff, students, and families, leveraging your bilingual abilities
- Document observations, report progress, and help monitor student achievement
- Encourage student participation and facilitate independence in learning and daily routines
- Uphold school policies and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive campus culture
