Work Environment

The rehabilitation center is designed to create a warm and encouraging atmosphere for patients. As a Physical Therapist, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes orthopedic specialists, and rehabilitation aides, utilizing a collaborative approach to optimize patient recovery. With operating hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will enjoy a structured schedule that supports work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' movement patterns and physical capabilities to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercises, and modalities to maximize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patients' progress through regular evaluations, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Educate patients on best practices for recovery, including home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term wellness.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment of orthopedic conditions.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing development of clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role demands a strong focus on an orthopedic patient population, comprising primarily individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will help patients not only in immediate recovery but also in increasing their functional independence and preventing future injuries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Solid analytical skills enabling the personalization of treatment plans based on individual assessment findings.
• Exceptional communication skills to build rapport and motivate patients effectively.
• Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry advancements in physical therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations, a strong understanding of physical rehabilitation modalities, and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 140,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental and vision coverage, and a retirement plan with employer contributions.
