Accountant

Person needed to fill a full time position with a private real estate development and investment company. Candidate will be hands‑on, detailed oriented, able to analyze a portfolio of commercial and residential properties at various levels, and make recommendations/implement changes. Will report directly to the Controller. Small office where everyone works as a team. This job will be in person five days a week. Responsibilities Review financial statements and prepare reports for management Analyze, document and record transactions Assist in preparation of budgets in conjunction with project managers Monthly financial reporting/ Accounts Receivable/Payable Review and assist in the preparation of leases/lease abstracts Preparation of spreadsheets for property projections, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow analysis Property and lease administration Prepare year end work papers and submit to outside accountants for tax return preparation Examine account records and prepare reports for real estate transactions which include property sales, rentals and leases Qualifications and Requirements Oral and written communication skills Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) #J-18808-Ljbffr Thylan Associates
