Litigation Attorney

Litigation AttorneyClyde & Co is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to work with their practice focused on third-party property damage and construction defense litigation. The ideal candidate is proactive, motivated, and organized and possesses superior writing skills. Prior property damage and/or construction defense litigation experience is preferred.In this role you will:Manage a caseload of 20-25 matters;Take depositions, attending hearings, and mediations as required;Draft and submit pleadings, motions and briefs;Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients;Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis;Draft discovery requests and discovery responses;Review and analyze documents and materials for production;Actively investigate claims and prepare case handling strategies;Actively and effectively report to our insurance carrier clients and insureds;Prepare cases for trial/mediation and participate in trial/mediationEducation and ExperienceJ.D.Litigation experienceExperience taking depositionsExcellent academic credentialsSkills and AbilityExceptional legal writing and communication skills;Strong interpersonal skills:Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.Why Join Us?At Clyde & Co, we believe in supporting your professional growth while ensuring you have the flexibility and benefits you need to thrive. The range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
