Proposal Manager

As our Proposal Manager you will complete Request for Proposal (RFP) responses for healthcare technology prospects (hospitals, health systems, physician practices) looking to enhance their respective revenue cycle management operations. Each day, you will manage the RFP process end-to-end, collaborate with key stakeholders, and leverage your advanced writing expertise to produce high-quality proposals. To thrive in this role, you’ll be self-motivated with expert-level writing skills and prior project management experience. You’ll enjoy collaborating across teams and building trusted relationships with key stakeholders. Responsibilities Learn the full proposal lifecycle – from initial solution development to proposal writing, to final editing and compliance assurance, to production and submission. Help manage opportunity kick-off meetings and project cadence calls. Prepare annotated outlines (first-pass responses) and section specifications to support the proposal strategy. Assist in leading proposal development and strategic planning activities for all assigned bids and RFPs. Serve as lead writer, when needed, for proposals and RFPs of different sizes and complexities. Develop and manage compliant and compelling proposal content in accordance with RFP requirements. Provide peer review editorial assistance for other team members at different stages of the bid development process. Work with technical subject matter experts and capture team leaders to develop bid and proposal strategies (and associated content) designed to enhance our bid position and to increase win probabilities. Coordinate development of graphics, working with technical subject matter experts to illustrate technical and management concepts and convey key proposal messaging. Use technology-based tools and software programs (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, RFP Management Software) for proposal communications, collaboration, scheduling, and development. Edit and proofread proposal sections for style, consistency, and compliance. Ensure that all information is consistent with the organization’s brand message, value proposition, business objectives, and style standards. Support production of proposals, ensuring high quality, professional products are created and delivered on time. Assist in producing, binding, packaging, and shipping all customer documents, as needed. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience; AMPM a plus Minimum 2 years of proven experience in managing large, complex proposals Must have proficiency with RFP AI Automation Software Experience Project Managing the RFP process Ability to think critically and draw from several resources to create simple, unified, and persuasive documents in a timely manner to meet SLA requirements Must be a strong communicator and able to collaborate with all levels within the organization including product, sales, operations, HR, security, risk, and legal For this US-based position, the base pay range is $48,131.00 - $81,225.49 per year. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 5.00%.
