Travel RN - Cath Lab/EP

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience and proficiency in both cardiac cath and IR lab procedures. Requirements Active NY RN license required (pending licenses not accepted) Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required; IR-only experience does not meet this requirement Experience in both Cath Lab and IR Lab procedures is required Proficiency in a broad range of cardiac procedures including PCI, left/right heart catheterization, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, cardiac stent placement, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, and angioplasty Proficiency in IR procedures including embolization, nephrostomy, renal angiography, renal artery stent placement, uterine arterial embolization, lung biopsy, pulmonary angiography, liver biopsy, paracentesis, and gastrostomy tube placement Proficiency in vascular access procedures including central venous access, PICC placement, port placement, dialysis graft creation/revision, and endovascular interventions Competency in procedural sedation administration and monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, 12-lead EKG, and IV infusion pump management Phlebotomy and peripheral IV placement skills required 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration Responsibilities Hospital-based Cath Lab/IR Lab setting Patients include those requiring cardiac catheterizations (diagnostic and interventional) as well as IR lab procedures such as drains, tubes, kyphoplasty, and biopsies Scheduled 4x10-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Average of 8–10 call shifts per month, including 1–2 call weekends per month depending on schedule Epic EMR experience required Scrubs are provided by the facility First‑time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position All time‑off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests should be kept to approximately 1 week per assignment 13‑week contract Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr
