Position: Travel RN - Post Partum

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Unit Information

This position is for the Mom/Baby unit with the following details:

Number of Beds: 32 (operational)
Number of Staff: 59 total (FT/PT/PRN)
Staff Type:
- Day Shift: Charge RN, RN, PCT, HUC
- Night Shift: Charge RN, RN, PCT, HUC
Patient Ratios: 1:3 couplets (varies based on mix)
Type of Equipment: EMR Meditech & CPN
On Call Requirement: None
Floating Requirement: Ante for postpartum overflow, L&D recoveries

Qualifications

Must Have:
- Couplet Care Competencies
- Breastfeeding Support
Preferred Skills:
- Mother-Baby Charge Experience
- Late-preterm or transitional newborn experience

Responsibilities

Newborn Screenings
Blood Glucose Monitoring
Jaundice Monitoring
Perineal & Incision Care
Feeding Support
