Initials accurate and ongoing assessments of physical and psychosocial problems of patient. Performs appropriate and age specific triage on all patients within 5 minutes of arrival to ED including chief complaint, v.s., time and signature. Assignment of level of triage as appropriate based on brief history and indicated vital signs. Performs and documents appropriate nursing history and physical admission on an ongoing basis. Performs and documents age specific basic physiological condition of the patient to include; mental status, skin signs, pain level and complaint specific information. Reflects psychosocial needs of the patient. Reflects perceptions of patient and/or significant others of his health problem(s) and his expectations of the present hospitalization. Job Requirements Required Graduate of an accredited RN program Registered Nurse: CA RN License Basic Life Support - CPR BLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS, within 90 Days Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS, within 90 Days Preferred Previous Emergency Department experience Where You'll Work Founded in 1946, Dignity Health - French Hospital Medical Center is a 112-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in San Luis Obispo, California.
