This contract position offers an immediate start and is based onsite in Lackawanna County, providing services to children in local schools. The role begins with 21 hours per week, scheduled over 2-3 days, and has strong potential to expand to five days throughout the school calendar year. You’ll be part of a dedicated team, fostering students’ growth and helping them achieve important developmental milestones.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active and current Occupational Therapy license for the state of Pennsylvania
• Ability to secure (or already possess) required PA clearances
• Experience supporting young children, preferably in schools or early childhood environments
• Comfortable working onsite within early childhood settings
• Skillful in collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Available to start as soon as possible and commit through June 16, 2027
• Zoom interview required as part of the selection process

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct OT interventions to early childhood students in accordance with individual education plans
• Assess, plan, and document student progress; adjust interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with teachers and support personnel to foster inclusive, therapeutic environments
• Consult with families and offer strategies that carry over into the home setting
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school, state, and federal regulations
