Business Development Rep 28 days ago Requisition ID: 1075 Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $100,000.00 Annually Business Development Representative Bauer’s Intelligent Transportation is searching for an experienced Business Development Representative to help us keep growing. The job relied heavily on the ability to communicate over the phone and in person. Having strong communication and solid interpersonal skills. This role is related to the sales department of a company to seek out and build new business by starting relationships with people in our target market; and ensure after-sale service satisfaction. Description of Responsibilities: Partner with sales team to create contract winning proposals for current and prospective client Brainstorming and executing new strategies to attract our target market Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business needs Create proposals for existing customers to better help them with their business while utilizing company’s service Building long-term trusting relationships with clients Report to the Manager of the department on weekly/monthly/quarterly sales results Ensure all pertinent aspects of solicitation, closing, and customer communications are complete and documented Identify and pursue new and repeat business through prospecting calls, visits, site tours, lunches, and networking events Develop and maintain market awareness to ensure ability to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive strategies Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, hospitality, accounting, or related field 2+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service role in the transportation industry Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose solutions for clients Track record of achieving sales quotes Strong writing, editing, organizational, and time management skills are required Ability to prioritizing different projects and stay on schedule 401(k) - Matching Medical coverage Vision Paid time off Life & AD&D Insurance Bauer’s Intelligent Transportation is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
