Quality and Patient Safety Coordinator

Your future role at a glance Location: Jacksonville, FL Facility: Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital Department: Total Quality Management Schedule: Days | Full-time How you'll make an impact in this role Coordinate quality, risk and/or patient safety aspects of The Joint Commission continuous readiness program. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/ performance measures. Support activities related to quality and risk reduction initiatives and compliance with patient safety standards. Analyze and report on data collected from a variety of sources. Develop detailed quality financial reports for specific groups and service lines. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Quality Professional credential preferred. Risk Management credential preferred. Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required. What additional requirements you'll need 3 years of Registered Nurse experience. Quality or education background.
