Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of patients, utilizing established best practices to develop individualized treatment plans addressing emotional and psychosocial needs.

• Delivering various therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities, tailored to each patient’s conditions and preferences.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
\n
• Collaborating closely with other members of the hospice team—including physicians, nurses, and chaplains—to provide integrated care and support for holistic patient needs.
\n
• Participating in regular team meetings to review patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
\n
• Providing guidance and educational resources to patients and families, supporting them in understanding mental health issues and available treatment pathways.

• Staying updated on mental health research and innovations to continue enhancing the effectiveness of your clinical practice.

• Managing a diverse caseload effectively to ensure timely progress toward patient treatment goals, with a focus on ethical standards set by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on hospice patients who face complex emotional and psychological challenges associated with terminal illnesses. You will leverage your expertise to support these individuals and their families, guiding them through grief, adjustment to illness, and end-of-life considerations with empathy and respect.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university.

• A valid state license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• At least three years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services in a healthcare setting.

• A strong foundation in evidence-based solution-oriented psychotherapy techniques.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with patients, families, and colleagues.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with community resources related to mental health and end-of-life care would also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer competitive compensation reflective of your experience and qualifications, within a range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 yearly. Additional benefits include:
