In this remote position, you'll be primarily serving clients at our Hospice Center, which specializes in supporting individuals with chronic pain and related psychological issues. Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily responsibilities will involve a variety of tasks that are crucial for the clinical treatment of our clients:

• Provide individualized therapy sessions for adult clients experiencing chronic pain, anxiety, and related psychological challenges in an outpatient setting.

• Conduct psychoeducational classes weekly to educate clients on coping strategies and skills necessary for managing chronic pain.
\n
• Deliver brief therapeutic interventions for clients in our Functional Restoration Program (FRP) while monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
\n
• Administer comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices in pain psychology to inform your clinical care, ensuring a high standard of treatment.
\n
• Document clinical interactions and treatment plans meticulously in our electronic medical records (EMR) system to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine necessary referrals for additional modalities within the clinic as appropriate.
\n
• Ensure all services provided adhere to legal and ethical standards set by the licensure board and relevant health regulations.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will primarily consist of adults who have sustained work-related injuries, leading to debilitating chronic pain often accompanied by anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will work with a diverse range of patients, utilizing a holistic approach that integrates therapy techniques designed to address both psychological and physical aspects of their conditions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
\n
• Current and active clinical social work license in California (LCSW).
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in mental health, with a focus on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies.

• Demonstrated experience in assessing and treating clients suffering from chronic pain conditions.
\n
• Proven ability to engage with a chronic pain/trauma population using an integrated therapeutic approach.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

• Sound judgment and the ability to build rapport with patients, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in multidisciplinary teams and outpatient pain management settings, as well as those familiar with EMR systems, will be at an advantage. Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities related to chronic pain management are also valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually. In addition, our benefits package includes:
