Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker at Beacon of Hope, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Implementing a diverse range of therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based methodologies to address patients' unique needs.

• Maintaining thorough clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant policies to protect patient confidentiality.

• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, certified nurses, and other mental health professionals, to promote a unified approach to patient care.

• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review sessions aimed at continuous professional development and enhancing the quality of care.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on mental health challenges, treatment options, and community resources to support their recovery and overall well-being.

• Staying current in the field by integrating the latest research and best practices into your clinical work, ensuring that all interventions are grounded in up-to-date evidence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with hospice patients and their families, navigating sensitive issues related to end-of-life care, grief, and emotional distress. Your role will involve providing not only clinical support but also emotional comfort in a compassionate manner, thereby contributing to a dignified and peaceful transition for our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and competency in clinical social work.

• A valid Washington State license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly focused on providing therapy to patients facing terminal illnesses or significant life transitions.
