Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand patients' mental health status, strengths, and needs, informing individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to provide effective therapy options.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment choices, and medication management to empower informed decision-making.
\n
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing appropriate therapeutic approaches based on patients’ needs and preferences.
\n
• Work collaboratively with the treatment team to develop and update treatment plans that reflect patient goals and progress.
\n
• Assist patients in navigating the mental health system, advocating for their needs and rights throughout the treatment process.

• Lead therapeutic groups and psychoeducation sessions designed to promote mental wellness and recovery as part of discharge planning.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
