Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker at Palm Health Medical Center, your core responsibilities will include:

• Providing clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions to clients experiencing various mental health challenges, both remotely and in community settings.

• Developing and implementing individualized care plans through collaboration with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring continuity of care and linkage to necessary services.

• Conducting evidence-based screenings and assessments to identify the needs of clients, followed by appropriate referrals for more extensive evaluations whenever necessary.

• Delivering a range of clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions that focus on empowering clients to manage their symptoms and enhance their quality of life.

• Participating in on-call coverage as assigned, providing timely support in crisis situations, and ensuring responsive care.

• Engaging in continuous quality improvement initiatives and participating in committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and operational efficiencies.

• Maintaining accurate documentation for all client interactions while ensuring compliance with professional ethical guidelines and the organization's code of conduct.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily engage with clients facing significant mental health challenges, including but not limited to, severe emotional disorders and major mental illnesses. Our patient population is diverse, comprising individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds, which requires a clinician who is culturally competent and able to build rapport with clients from all walks of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, with active licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Massachusetts.

• Expert knowledge and experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for individuals from various demographics.

• Strong capabilities in crisis intervention, active listening, and conflict resolution, with a patient-centered approach to care.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in documenting client interactions clearly and effectively.

• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and respect diverse beliefs and practices.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, candidates with experience in substance use treatment and mental health crisis intervention will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms is also advantageous as we utilize technology to enhance our clinical services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
