Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to evaluate their social, emotional, and environmental needs; this includes identifying risk factors and developing tailored intervention strategies.

• Collaborate with students, families, and school staff to create individualized service plans, ensuring that interventions are measurable and aligned with the client's and educational goals.

• Provide individual and family counseling, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist clients in overcoming emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Facilitate crisis interventions and develop safety plans for students facing immediate risks, ensuring the well-being of all involved.

• Establish connections with community resources, such as mental health services, housing assistance, and substance abuse programs, to support students and their families holistically.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote awareness about available social services and advocate for the needs of students.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary collaborations aimed at enhancing service delivery.

• Document all interactions and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on children and adolescents within the school system, including those facing various challenges such as mental health conditions, trauma, family instability, and socio-economic hardships. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
