Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager – Shared Services SLEQ Solutions is looking for an Engineering Manager to join our shared services team. This full‑time position is located in our Blaine, MN office and focuses on leading a multi‑team development effort to deliver a next‑generation, customer‑centric software platform. Responsibilities Lead engineering strategy, technical direction, and platform architecture with speed, scale, quality, and maintainability. Oversee AI‑driven product capabilities, intelligent automation, ML/LLM initiatives, and emerging technology adoption, ensuring oversight, explainability, security, compliance, and risk controls. Build, mentor, and retain high‑performing engineering teams with clear standards, accountability, and growth paths. Set engineering practices, coding standards, quality benchmarks, DevOps maturity, automation, observability, and release discipline, and own engineering execution from roadmap planning and estimation through delivery, launch, and post‑release monitoring. Partner with Product and executives to refine priorities, manage trade‑offs, unblock dependencies, and communicate risks. Champion customer value and collaborate across Product, Design, Customer Success, Security, Compliance, and Infrastructure. Qualifications 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading engineering teams in a product‑driven environment. Hands‑on technical credibility, with recent coding experience in Python, TypeScript, Go, Java, or similar. Proven ability to design, build, and ship scalable platforms, with strong architecture, cloud, engineering standards, and roadmap discipline. Experience delivering AI/ML‑enabled products, including LLM integration, MLOps, data pipelines, or responsible AI governance. Strong people leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build teams, create accountability, and explain technical complexity clearly.
