Quality Control Lab TechnicianGrand Rapids, MI12-nights (2-2-3 schedule), 6pm-6:30amPosition Overview The Quality Lab Technician supports manufacturing by performing accurate testing on raw materials, in?process batches, and finished products. This role ensures timely communication of test results, batch adjustments, and release decisions to operations teams. The technician also initiates notifications and conducts preliminary investigations for non?conforming materials.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform chemical, physical, and visual testing using standard proceduresRecord test data and usage decisions in SAPDetermine raw material adjustment amounts to meet specificationsCollect and store retain samples as requiredCreate non?conformance notifications and complete initial investigationsSupport customer complaint investigations through batch and sample reviewMaintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and housekeeping standardsPrepare reagents and ensure readiness for scheduled production testingMinimum RequirementsJunior college degree or higher in a chemistry?related fieldLaboratory experienceAbility to communicate clearly with cross?functional teamsProficiency with Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to follow safety requirements and use appropriate PPEPreferred RequirementsExperience in the chemical industryValid driver's license and ability to travel occasionallyFamiliarity with SAP data entry processesExperience collaborating in multinational environmentsPay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.The salary for this role is $26.00 - $29.00 per hour based on experience.In addition to your salary, H.B.
