Senior DevOps EngineerDigital Intelligence Systems (DISYS) is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to be part of a high-performance Content Management Agile development team based in Oakland, California.This is a 100% remote work model and a multi-year engagement.The ideal resource started out as a Developer, will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience, has been exposed to a multitude of technologies and eventually found his/her true passion in DevOps automation.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test and maintain build and deployment scripts in CI/CD framework/tools to automate and streamline deployment processes.Drive the DevOps team toward automation and deployment best practices.Partner with the software architect and development teams in designing DevOps processes that help achieve team goals.Produce and maintain documentation on installations, procedures, and requirements for systems.Monitor applications.Research, suggest and implement new technologies, strategies and ways to solve technical issues.TechnologiesJenkins, Git, Docker, Docker Enterprise, Docker Compose, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Nexus, Artifactory, Ansible, Nginx, Cassandra/MongoDB, Terraform, Ruby.SkillsManage Linux based systemsCreate and write code for Kubernetes filesCode and configure CI/CDManage source control systemsFirm grasp of internet, cloud and network security conceptsContainerization and orchestrationInfrastructure as CodeUnderstanding of distributed systems and microservices architecturePlease note:Candidates with only Cloud Engineering experience are not suitable as this is an on-premise solution.Hands-on automation is required to build CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts.Currently using Docker swarm, CE which is not required; however, strong Kubernetes is required.Must have Git, Jenkins, Security for container scanning and automation.Understanding of Networking, creating own images.At least two years of Linux/System background.This is currently a 5-person team.
