In Person Community-Based Mental Health Assessor (LPC or LCSW)

Overview Community Based Mental Health Assessor (LPC or LCSW; or Licensed-Eligible Residents or Supervisees in Social Work) EMS of Virginia is seeking a skilled assessor who will complete assessments for our community-based programs, including Intensive In-home, Mental Health Skill Building, and Crisis Services. The successful candidate will be licensed in the state of Virginia as an LPC or LCSW, or be eligible for supervision toward licensure. EMS will provide licensure supervision to the right candidate as an added benefit of the position. Responsibilities Meet with clients in person to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments Complete assessment documentation in the electronic health record (Lauris) Gather information for submission of authorization requests to Medicaid MCOs Electronically submit authorization requests to MCOs Communicate with the assessment and supervisory team about the process Qualifications Virginia licensure as an LPC or LCSW, or eligibility for supervision toward licensure Supervision toward licensure provided by EMS for the right candidate Schedule, Compensation, and Growth Successful candidate will be available to complete 3–6 assessments per week, up to 20 hours per week. Scheduling will be flexible based on client need and requests for services. Pay is $25–$27 per hour with opportunities for incentives based on performance.
