Clinical Research Program Coordinator, Simmons Cancer Center

Job Summary Join UT Southwestern as a Program Coordinator at the Simmons Cancer Center. As a valued team member, you will oversee day-to‑day PRMC submission activities and manage/support REDCap PRMS forms and eIRB PRMC queue. You will facilitate protocol submissions and modifications to ensure timely reviews, approvals, and activation of new trials. Additionally, you will coordinate PRMC Committee Meetings, perform quality checks, ensure study submission compliance prior to committee review, monitor studies in the parallel‑review process, review monitoring and query responses, corrective actions, and follow up on outstanding requests. Responsibilities Analyze, coordinate, and evaluate program operations and procedures. Develop or oversee development of program budgets. Develop, cultivate, and maintain working relationships with internal/external departments, agencies, and other organizations associated with and/or benefiting from the program. Establish program goals and objectives, directing evaluation and quality‑control activities; develop and/or approve schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals. Plan and coordinate special events, participate in conferences, and present data and program information. Design, execute, and maintain a system of internal controls that provides reasonable assurance of effective operations, asset protection, and reliable financial information. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Read literature and attend functions to stay abreast of relevant scientific and technical developments related to the program. May provide supervision to staff members. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience and Education Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education/Social Science, or a related field. Five years of experience in an appropriate field; additional experience may be considered in lieu of education.
