Actalent Services LLC is hiring an Employee Support Associate for a permanent role inside our engineering services organization (formerly EASi LLC) supporting our technical consultants with employment questions and processing their payroll on a weekly basis. The Services Support Associate (SSA) is instrumental in ensuring Actalent’s consultants and employees receive exceptional service in all areas of requests including payroll, benefits, time-off requests and other general employment questions. The Services Support Associate is instrumental in providing error-free payroll support to all employees and consultants. This position requires a professional with a strong blend of interpersonal and communication skills with strong attention to detail relative to overseeing the verification, monitoring, and processing of weekly payroll, auditing expense reports, addressing employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and other general questions, and ensuring adherence with company policies and procedures.

This individual will be based in our Troy engineering office (Big Beaver Rd) with flexibility to work remote 1 day per week.  

Essential Functions

• Oversee timecard collection, secure manager approvals, and facilitate communication with internal partners and consultants.
• Review and verify payroll and expenses for accuracy.
• Resolve payroll and invoicing issues including adjustments, check requests, and invoice discrepancies.
• Ensure the accurate and timely entry of work assignment starts, finishes, and updates in PeopleSoft.
• Act as the primary contact for all employee benefits inquiries and education, including medical, time-off accruals, 401K, and tuition reimbursement policies.
• Conduct offboarding in accordance with company policy and in partnership with Human Resources.
• Update employee information accurately in PeopleSoft.
• Execute personnel changes, promotions, and terminations by communicating with appropriate partners and update systems as required.
• Maintain relationships with colleagues, consultants and their corresponding managers to support organizational goals and promote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of professional employee and/or client service experience required
• Skilled in identifying issues with limited information and inquiring with appropriate internal resources for further context to resolve
• Excellent prioritization, time-management and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and initiative to provide timely follow-up
• Preferred experience supporting remote teams and virtual employees across multiple provinces
• Ability to provide strong customer service experience to internal employees while maintaining composure and professionalism in various situations
• Proven ability to take ownership of individual responsibilities to ultimately resolve questions and issues for others, delivering results and responses in a timely and anticipated fashion 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required

Compensation and Benefits

$45,000 starting base pay, $4,000 annual performance bonus potential, 4 weeks paid time-off (vacation/personal), 6 paid holidays, 401(k) w/company match, medical / dental / vision benefits #fte26

This is a Permanent position based out of Troy, MI.

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $45000.00/yr.

4 Weeks Paid Time-Off, 6 Paid Holidays, 401(k) w/company match, M/D/V Benefits

This is a hybrid position in Troy,MI.

This position is anticipated to close on Jul 28, 2026.
