Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a residential apartment location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will reflect our values of being agile, reliable, and innovative while putting people first, working as a team, and acting with integrity every day.

Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour

- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or delivery arrivals while communicating professionally with residents and property personnel regarding security-related concerns.
- Support after-hours operations by observing community rules, reporting lighting or property issues, and assisting with security-related responses as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
