As a Security Officer Patrol Access Monitor in Costa Mesa, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns according to post instructions.
• Support Allied Universal standards by completing routine reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and following client-facing protocols in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
