Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic government airport location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Full Time / Swing Shift Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting supervisors, public agencies, and/or emergency personnel when needed. Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout terminals, parking areas, roadways, public access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or policy violations according to site procedures. Assist with traffic and pedestrian flow, provide directions and general assistance to the public, and support orderly operations during peak travel periods, special events, and/or weather-related disruptions. Minimum Requirements Have 2 or more years of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
