Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support access activities with professionalism and care. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Position Type: Part Time / Late Swing Shift Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Friday 06:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Saturday 06:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Sunday 06:00 PM – 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site expectations. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related issues. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, guests, and/or after‑hours access requests. Support daily operations by preparing incident reports, maintaining awareness of location conditions, and assisting with customer‑focused interactions involving employees, clients, and/or members of the public. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
