Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Issaquah, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 26 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery Department Nurse in a local healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized care during labor, preterm labor, and postpartum, supporting high-risk deliveries, and attending various obstetrical procedures. The role requires clinical expertise in obstetric nursing and the ability to work nights in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week Required Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing, valid state license with a compact license, certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate. Experience with Epic electronic charting system is required. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred. Float: Float rotation to postpartum and possibly labor and delivery at the designated facility may be required. Additional Information: The role involves administration of blood and blood products, management of high-risk pregnancies, use of special equipment such as epidural and PCA pumps, and attendance at all deliveries, including high-risk cases. Candidates should have experience with high-risk obstetric procedures, emergency interventions, and postpartum care. The assignment requires commitment to working three of the five major holidays, with all scheduling requests to be submitted upfront. Submittal Requirements: Candidates must have worked at a healthcare facility as a registered nurse for at least 2 years, with previous experience in labor and delivery and proficiency in Epic charting. Two references covering at least one year (or six months for CNAs) within the past three years are required prior to start. Candidates should not contact the facility directly unless for pre-arranged interviews.
