License: Must have a South Carolina license

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process)

Must-Have: Cath Lab experience. Proficiency in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor.

Description: Cath Lab Tech will work 4x10 hour day shifts but may vary as procedures are completed. The daily caseload is approximately 20 cases, with 4 to 5 labs running and 2 CVTs per lab. On-call requirements include one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month. An additional on-call shift and evening shift are required each week. Call requirements may change based on staffing needs. Holidays as needed are also required. The candidate must have experience in a Cath Lab setting. Proficiency in a range of cardiac procedures is essential, including diagnostic cardiac cath lab work and interventional cardiology. Specific skills required include accurate monitoring, cardiac stent placement, and various catheterization techniques. The candidate will work with specialized equipment such as Impella devices, IABP, and perform procedures like intravascular ultrasound and cardiac biopsies. All travelers should be prepared for potential emergency assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June to November. The work environment includes caring for adult and geriatric patients. Candidates must be able to meet pre-start compliance requirements in a timely manner. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. The facility prioritizes candidates with an active South Carolina license. Approval for planned time off must be included at the time of submission.
