Role Summary
As a Bilingual Owner Advocate, you support members in Pasco County, FL by delivering clear, respectful service in English and Spanish while maintaining accurate, compliant transactions. This entry-level, onsite position exists to ensure every member interaction is handled with care, precision, and follow-through. You'll thrive in a collaborative environment where your passion for member advocacy will shine. With competitive pay ranging from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on your experience, this role provides the opportunity to grow in a stable and supportive setting. Here, your empathetic approach will help you understand and meet the unique needs of each member, reinforcing your position as their trusted Bi-Lingual Owner Advocate*. Key responsibilities include:
- Welcome members/visitors and assist with routine credit union account requests
- Process member transactions with accurate cash handling and strong attention to detail
- Explain products/services and route more complex needs to the appropriate teammate
- Maintain documentation and communication using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Collaborate with the team while working independently when needed
Required qualifications/skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal/written communication and telephone etiquette; bilingual English/Spanish
- Strong organizational skills, typing/calculator proficiency, and multitasking ability
- Ability to work flexible hours at management's request

Your Typical Day
You begin by preparing your workstation, reviewing any team updates, and getting ready for member traffic. Throughout the day, you shift between lobby support and teller-line activity, communicating comfortably in English and Spanish and keeping records organized in the systems and office tools used by the branch. You take short moments to confirm details, balance your work, and ensure each interaction closes with clear next steps. Between member visits, you coordinate with coworkers on follow-ups and stay attentive to accuracy, privacy, and a professional pace until end-of-day wrap-up.
