Allied Technician - Radiology Tech

Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to assist with IR procedures in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess recent experience in IR or Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT) and be skilled in supporting the medical team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Interventional Radiology procedures under the guidance of physicians.
• Assist medical professionals during various IR procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Interventional Radiology or related fields.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Cerner is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Training or experience in general vascular coronary angiography and special procedures.
• Prior experience in catheterization procedures.

Holidays

The selected candidate will be expected to work a minimum of two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve) each year.
