Accounts Receivable ClerkFull-time New Orleans, LA, US Exclusive confidential search — details shared with qualified applicants.Become a Key Player as an Accounts Receivable ClerkYou will support the accounting function by keeping customer accounts accurate and up to date, helping the team maintain strong cash collection and reconciliation processes. This is an onsite role in New Orleans, LA and is a temp-to-perm opportunity (conversion considered after ~6 months).Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamApply and post daily customer payments accuratelyResearch and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely, professional mannerMaintain accurate customer account recordsPrepare and process daily bank depositsPrepare journal entries, adjustments, accruals, and supporting documentationAssist with month-end accounting activitiesCollaborate with customers, branch personnel, and other departments to resolve account issuesSupport the Accounting Department with additional projects and responsibilities as neededHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeProfessional communication and customer service skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionSelf-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learnHere's What Else Might Help You OutAssociate degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent accounting/administrative experiencePrevious Accounts Receivable or general accounting experience preferredPay Range$12.96 - $16.20/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
