Accounts Receivable SpecialistThe Accounts Receivable Specialist provides billing and collections support in order to maintain the business functionality of the company and ensure that billing and collections goals are met. This position is also responsible for opening and closing projects within the accounting system.ResponsibilitiesCreate new projects within the accounting system based on information provided by Project Managers. Reviews information and ensures that appropriate documentation is provided in order to proceed with the job.Verify status of contract, contract fees, and client information for projects. If a contract has not been created, work with the Project Manager to ensure we have a contract.Prepare invoices based on billing instructions received from Project Managers and send final invoices to appropriate client personnelSend monthly client statements to appropriate client personnel to supplement collection effortsUpdate the status of jobs as they move from Active to Warranty to Closed. Ensure that all required criteria have been met before a job is closed.Other duties as necessaryQualificationsRequired Education, Experience, and QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent5+ years of accounting experience in a professional environmentIntermediate level skills in Adobe, Excel and other MS Office toolsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressure and within short deadlinesHigh-level analytic skillsEffective verbal and written communication skills.Detail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast paced environment.Well versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary.Preferred Education, Experience, and QualificationsExperience with mid-large size engineering/construction organization preferredAssociates/Bachelor degree in accounting, business, or related field preferredTravel Requirements0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.Physical/Work Environment RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Climbing stairs.Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.Quiet environment.Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.ENFRA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the e-Verify program.
