Accounts Payable Specialist

Frey Consulting Group

Metairie, LA

The Accounts Payable Processor is a member of the Finance team located in Metairie. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing for the Southern U.S. Region. This is a fast-paced position with very high volume.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Process and enter invoices quickly and accurately Review, audit and accurately process employee expense reports. Prepare payment runs ensuring vendor payments are made timely according to vendor terms. Maintain accounts payable files Research and resolve inquiries concerning account status and discrepancies Assist with financial audit data requests Propose and implement improvements to accounts payable processes to drive efficiency and cost savings, as well as to strengthen internal controls Special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience Solid knowledge of fundamental accounting and AP operations Experience in an electronic accounts payable processing environment Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook Working knowledge of ERP system Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and track tasks effectively Team player with strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to learn quickly, be proactive and take initiative #J-18808-Ljbffr Frey Consulting Group
