Make a real impact in students’ lives by providing Occupational Therapy services in a supportive school setting near Oregon City, OR. This contract opportunity (.4 FTE) lets you combine your passion for helping children with a schedule that allows balance and flexibility.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials
- Experience or strong interest in a school environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to assess and develop individualized strategies for students with diverse needs
- Commitment to fostering student growth, independence, and participation within the educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments, interpret results, and create Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Deliver evidence-based interventions for fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to integrate recommendations into daily routines
- Collect data on student progress, document services, and participate in IEP meetings
- Advocate for student access and success, using creativity to overcome challenges
- Adapt support based on student needs, continuing professional growth and actively contributing to the broader educational mission
