Dental Assistant

Job Description Job Description The Dental Assistant will provide essential support in a solo general dentistry practice by preparing patients, assisting chairside during procedures, and ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilized and maintained. Reporting to the Office Manager, the assistant will work on-site exclusively to help deliver efficient and comfortable dental care. Responsibilities Assist dentist chairside during general dental procedures Prepare patients for treatment and explain procedures as needed Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment Perform dental radiography following safety protocols Maintain infection control standards throughout the practice Ensure proper maintenance and care of dental equipment Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of dental assisting experience Certificate in Dental Assisting or related field Proficiency in dental radiography and sterilization techniques Strong patient care and infection control skills Familiarity with dental software systems Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management abilities
