Perform accurate plumbing quantity takeoffs (piping, fittings, valves, specialties, fixtures, insulation, supports, equipment connections, etc.)Review proposals to find the most cost-efficient way to complete projects for bidding.Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, construction superintendents, and engineers to discuss and formulate estimates.Review bid documents (drawings, specifications, addenda, scopes, and schedules) to understand project requirements and identify risks, conflicts, or missing information.Prepare proposals, finalize estimates for prospective projects.Site visits (as needed).Qualifications for a Plumbing Estimator3 to 10+ years' experience as a Plumbing EstimatorExperience with estimating software - Quote Express or similar.Ability to support design-assist, negotiated, and/or plan-and-spec bidding.Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).Must be able to complete advanced mathematical functions.Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently without constant supervision.Strong attention to detail.Strong time management skills.Apply today!
