Allied Technician - Respiratory Therapist

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Emergency Department team. Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care and therapy to patients in the emergency department.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients' respiratory conditions.
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications as directed by physicians.
• Monitor and record patients' progress and response to treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care management.
• May be required to float between various facilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current.
• Valid Ohio RRT license must be in hand at the time of application.
• Availability to work night shifts of 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) and weekends as needed.
