Clinical Research Site Development Manager / Senior CRC

Sterling Clinical Research – Central Florida

Sterling Clinical Research is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Site Development Manager / Senior CRC to help grow and manage our expanding clinical research operation.

KEY REQUIREMENT: EXPERIENCE SECURING CLINICAL TRIALS

This is not a traditional CRC position.

We are specifically looking for someone with experience identifying, pursuing, and securing clinical trials from sponsors, pharmaceutical/biotech companies, and CROs.

The ideal candidate understands the full clinical research lifecycle—from study acquisition and feasibility through budget negotiation, site start-up, enrollment, study execution, and closeout.

You Will Have Dedicated Support

You will not be expected to do everything alone.

This position will have a dedicated Assistant CRC to assist with patient scheduling, study coordination, documentation, regulatory tasks, and other day-to-day research activities.

This allows you to focus more heavily on higher-level responsibilities, including bringing new trials to the site, developing sponsor/CRO relationships, negotiating budgets, managing study start-up, and overseeing successful trial execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and pursue new clinical trial opportunities

- Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors and CROs

- Complete feasibility questionnaires and site-selection submissions

- Present our site capabilities to potential sponsors

- Coordinate qualification calls and Site Qualification Visits

- Negotiate study budgets, start-up fees, and other site costs

- Assist with Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) negotiations

- Manage regulatory and site start-up activities

- Oversee study activation, enrollment, monitoring, and closeout

- Coordinate with investigators, sponsors, CROs, and research staff

- Supervise and work closely with the dedicated Assistant CRC

- Ensure compliance with GCP, FDA, IRB, and protocol requirements

What We’re Looking For

- 3+ years of clinical research experience preferred

- Proven experience obtaining or helping secure clinical trials for a research site

- Experience working directly with sponsors and CROs

- Experience with feasibility questionnaires and site selection

- Experience with study start-up and regulatory processes

- Experience negotiating clinical trial budgets

- Strong knowledge of GCP and clinical research regulations

- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership

- Experience in orthopedics, pain management, spine, neuroscience, or medical device trials is a plus
