Accounting Assistant Full Time Clerical Miami Lake, FL, US Salary Range: $26.00 To $29.00 Hourly Accounts Payable Clerk with Creative Engineering, a subsidiary Group of DJ&A – Miami Lakes, FL Would you like the opportunity to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk? As an AP Clerk at Creative Engineering Group, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and provide office support as we continue to help our client communities through engineering services. This position is based in our Miami Lakes office location. Creative Engineering group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to support daily accounting operations. This position is responsible for invoice approvals, processing vendor invoices, reviewing employee expense reports, managing vendor accounts, and supporting project accounting functions in a multi-company environment. Review, code, and process vendor invoices Follow up with project managers for project numbers and invoice approvals Log into vendor portals to retrieve invoices and statements Process and monitor monthly company credit cards Review and approve employee expense reports for accuracy, documentation, and project coding Maintain vendor records and assist with 1099 reporting Support month-end close, accruals, and accounts payable reconciliations Assist with project accounting, job cost tracking, and expense allocations Communicate with vendors, project managers, and employees to provide all necessary documentation to resolve issues and obtain approvals Your Background and Credentials Associate Degree in Accounting or Business preferred 4+ years of accounts payable experience preferred Knowledge of project accounting and accrual accounting principles Experience reviewing and processing employee expense reports Experience working in a multi-company accounting environment is a plus Deltek Vantagepoint experience is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills You will find competitive compensation and robust benefits including multiple health insurance options with low premiums; company paid LTD/STD and life insurances, 401(k) with a match. #J-18808-Ljbffr
