Qualifications

• Valid Delaware Special Education Teacher license
• Experience working with K-12 students with diverse needs preferred
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instruction and support according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication abilities with students, families, and colleagues

What to Expect

• Contract position running from ASAP through June 11, 2027
• Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday
• Engage with students in both individual and small group settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to ensure student progress
• Work collaboratively with general education staff and related service providers
• Maintain accurate records and comprehensive documentation as required
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom climate focused on student growth
