Director of Brand Partnerships
Our client is a fast-growing marketplace technology company helping brands scale high-performing digital content across social, creator, and e-commerce channels. Their platform connects leading brands and agencies with a broad network of creators, giving teams access to the content, insights, and production support needed to improve engagement, campaign performance, and conversion.
The company partners with well-known global brands across consumer, retail, beauty, lifestyle, and CPG. This is a strong opportunity for a commercially driven sales leader who understands the creator economy, influencer marketing, paid social, and how brands are using content to drive measurable business results.
We are seeking a Director of Brand Partnerships to help expand new business and build long-term relationships with enterprise brands and agencies. This person will own the full sales cycle, develop strategic partnerships, and sell solutions that may include creator marketplace services, SaaS technology, influencer marketing, paid social, and branded content programs.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly proactive, comfortable prospecting into senior-level decision makers, and able to translate modern social and creator-led marketing solutions into clear business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Own new business development efforts across target brand and agency accounts, with a focus on revenue growth and long-term partnership creation.
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and close.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound lead follow-up, referrals, networking, and strategic account research.
- Build and present customized proposals that align platform capabilities, creator solutions, influencer marketing, paid social, and content production needs with client goals.
- Develop a deep understanding of each prospect’s marketing priorities, content challenges, paid media strategy, and growth objectives.
- Position the company’s platform and marketplace as a solution for brands looking to scale creator-driven content, improve campaign performance, and move faster across digital channels.
- Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Operations to support priority opportunities, client needs, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Work closely with Customer Success to identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and support upsell conversations when appropriate.
- Build trusted relationships with brand marketers, agency leaders, and senior-level decision makers.
- Maintain a consistent and organized approach to pipeline management, partner outreach, follow-up, forecasting, and reporting.
- Use sales materials, case studies, data, and campaign examples to clearly communicate value to prospective clients.
- Track activity, pipeline, revenue progress, and conversion metrics against company goals.
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, with a strong focus on new business development.
- Direct experience selling within influencer marketing, creator commerce, paid social, social media marketing, digital media, adtech, martech, or a closely related space.
- Experience selling to enterprise brands, agencies, or senior marketing decision makers.
- Strong understanding of creator-led content, UGC, branded content, paid social amplification, campaign performance metrics, and social commerce trends.
- Proven ability to prospect, create opportunities, manage complex sales conversations, and close new business.
- Established relationships with senior-level contacts across brand, agency, media, or digital marketing teams is highly preferred.
- Ability to create thoughtful, strategic proposals that connect client challenges to measurable marketing solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can shift quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and revenue targets.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.

This person should bring strong commercial instincts, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to explain modern creator and social marketing solutions in a way that feels clear, practical, and tied to business outcomes.
